I’m Ordinary.

I’m ordinary. For most people that’s not a life-altering revelation, but fortunately, and finally, for me it is. You see, I’ve always had a personal expectation to be extraordinary. I am beginning to realize the only “extra” in my “ordinary” is Jesus, and that’s taken a lot of pressure off me, and it may you too.

Living an extraordinary life is not something to do for God but with Him. When people look at me they should see an ordinary guy God has granted a measure of faith, favor, provision, and anointing. Hopefully one day, one might see what extraordinary things God did through an ordinary guy, not what I did for God.

No matter how gifted or accomplished you may be, if what you are doing is in your own strength, it will eventually become boring, ordinary. At that point you’ll find the end of yourself and the beginning of what God wants to do in and through you.

“When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary menthey were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13

Do you feel ordinary?
Does God use ordinary people?
